Defra launches African swine fever consultation

Defra has launched a 'informal consultation' on proposed amendments to the disease control measures for African Swine Fever in England.

Rebecca senior policy adviser Rebecca Veale said the NPA has started preparing a response, and urged members to get in touch with her if they would like to discuss it.
The proposals will also be discussed at next week's Pig Industry Group meeting, after which more thoughts will be posted in the Members' Area.
