An opportunity to sponsor the young pig farmers of the future

Young NPA is looking for sponsorship for an exciting summer trip to Yorkshire.
A group of young people working across the pig industry will be spending two days in the county in late-June.
The trip will take in Leeds University’s exciting new indoor herd facility, with discussion on the endless research possibilities that it brings. There will also be a tour of the Mulgrave estate, including its venison enterprise and gin distillery, as well as a site visit to one of Karro’s plants.
Around 30 people have already signed up.
Trip organiser, NPA senior policy advisor Ed Barker said the trip, which follows on from a successful YNPA visit to Scotland last summer (pictured), was a great opportunity to inspire the pig sector’s next generation.
Some of the costs, such as travel, will be borne by the YNPA members, while long-term YNPA supporter A-One Feeds has very kindly agreed to sponsor some of the trip's food costs.
“But we need some extra funding to cover other costs, including accommodation, so we would like to offer an opportunity to co-sponsor the trip," Ed said.
“As well as playing your part in supporting the next generation, you will have your name associated with the event as we publicise it through our various channels. And you would be welcome to send someone on the trip to spend two days with us in Yorkshire!”
