Another candidate steps forward as deadline day arrives

With the nominations deadline now just hours away, a 27th candidate has put themselves forward for the NPA elections. 

Michelle SprentPremier Nutrition's Michelle Sprent becomes the 14th confirmed candidate for the Allied Industry Group (AIG). Michelle, who has already deputised for colleague Paul Toplis on AIG, is now keen to take up a primary position herself.

A pig nutritionist for 20 years, she says: "With my experience in the feed industry and particularly in the home-mix and co-product market I feel I can make a valuable contribution and thus help ensure a bright future for our industry."

This means, AIG has edged ahead of PG, which currently has 13 candidates.
