Being on the Front Foot - Young NPA National details announced
6th Nov 2018 / By Georgina Crayford
One of the best events of the year for young people connected to the pig industry is just around the corner.
The Young NPA National takes place in London on Thursday December 6. The theme this year is ‘Being on the Front Foot, focusing on the interaction between farming and the media.
We live in a world in which news travels fast and consumers are increasingly interested in knowing how their food is produced. It is more important than ever before that the pig industry engages with the public and the media, to improve transparency and instil trust.
With an exciting line-up of speakers who will share their experiences of working in the national media, the day will explore how best to embrace the opportunity, rather than shy away from it.
Following what will be an informative afternoon, we will, as always, be heading out for dinner and dancing in the evening!
When: Thurs 6th December
Where: St Matthew's Conference Centre, 20 Great Peter Street, London, SW1P 2BU (map attached)
Time: Lunch from 12:30, meeting proper to start at 13:00
