The risk-based regime, which categorises scheme members and the nature of their inspections in terms of their perceived risk of non-compliance with scheme standards. You can read more about it here
Red Tractor pork chairman Mike Sheldon said: "The purpose of the new risk-based approach to Red Tractor assessments is to encourage all producers to meet the standards first time. The standards themselves have not changed under this approach - rather this is about getting closer to our ambition of: every producer, every standard, every day."
