Fancy chairing the Young NPA?

3rd Sep 2019 / By Rebecca Veale

We’re looking for a chair for Young NPA, a new role for 2020!

This is a great opportunity to network and expand your reach, raising both your profile and the YNPA’s, as well as supporting the work of the NPA.

The role

We are keen to provide flexibility and will tailor the role to your interests. The responsibilities will include the following (although not an exhaustive list):

  • the opportunity to help shape the work and activities of the Young NPA Group, working alongside Ed, Becca and Andrea;
  • attendance at a Producer Group or Allied Industry Group meeting;
  • to give an overview of the work of the YNPA at a regional meeting;
  • the opportunity to attend conferences, meetings and industry events
  • the opportunity to meet politicians in Westminster and act as an advocate for the pig sector and the Young NPA.

This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to build their network and profile in the sector, as well as helping to shape the work of the Young NPA. We would welcome anyone who is looking to bring lots of ideas and creativity to the Group. To apply you will need:

  • to be a member of the Young NPA group;
  • to be available to attend events on behalf of the Young NPA throughout the year such as the Young NPA national
  • to work alongside the NPA team in promoting the work of the Young NPA
  • to be a positive, energetic person with lots of ideas!

If you’re interested please email  with an expression of interest by September 8, 2019 and we’ll let you know how to apply!
