Farmers Weekly Awards open for entries

The search is on for the best pig farmers in the country as the Farmers Weekly Awards open for nominations. To make a nomination, producers need to complete the required form on the awards website. The awards organisers will then contact the nominee and ask them to complete the detailed entry form. Alternatively, the farmer can enter directly themselves. You can enter online here The closing date for entries is April 30. Now in their 16th year, the Awards have recognised over 600 finalists and winners for their achievements, innovation and hard work. The 2019 winner was Norfolk 3,200-sow outdoor pig producer North Farm Livestock, owned by brothers Michael and Ian Baker (pictured below, credit Tim Scrivener).
