Full transcript of NPA EFRA hearing published
16th Feb 2017 / By Alistair Driver
The full transcript of NPA chief executive Zoe Davies' evidence session evidence session to MPs on the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Committee is now available online.
Zoe made a strong case for retaining access to permanent, unskilled labour post-Brexit, when she gave evidence to the committee, as part of its inquiry into labour constraints in the agricultural industry.
She also stressed the long-term need to make agriculture a more attractive place for workers from the UK and abroad and put the spotlight on Immigration Minister Robert Goodwill over his refusal to engage with NPA on post-Brexit access to labour for the pig sector.
