The NPA's Georgina Crayford, who has organised the event, will share her findings from various trips around the world as part of her Nuffield Scholarship into strategies to change farmer behaviour regarding antibiotic use on farm.
Lizzie Bentley, technical support manager at Yorkshire Farmers marketing cooperative will talk
about the methods the company and its members are employing on farm to reduce antibiotic use.
Georgina said: "This year we have a packed agenda which will be exploring antibiotic use in the pig industry.
'The pig sector has committed to reducing its antibiotic use by 60% over five years to 2020. How might the pig sector deliver against this ambitious target and what might the challenges be?"
