Members urged to complete two environmental surveys

5th Mar 2021 / By Alistair Driver

Defra is carrying out a survey as part of a review of the Environmental Permitting Regulations and we are urging members to respond.

The voluntary survey is open until midnight on Sunday March 14 and can be accessed at this link: Defra EPR survey

The questions seek information about whether the Regulations are achieving the anticipated benefits to regulators and industry of having a single regulatory system.

While the questions are in 'multiple choice structure, there are comments boxes for each question to enable you to provide additional information, evidence or reflections. There is also the opportunity to give your views on ways in which the Regulations might be improved to reduce administrative costs and burdens.

The survey questions can also be downloaded in document form in the Members' Area to make it easier for businesses to gather information across their organisations before responding. To access the document, CLICK HERE

Waste survey

The Environment Agency is carrying out a National Waste Crime Survey and would like farmers to take part. A key aim of the survey is to better understand the impacts of waste crime.

For further information and to take part, go to: https://systraltd.researchfeedback.net/s/nwcs2021_eac

The survey is open for three weeks from March 1-22.
