More ASF confirmed in Laos

Over the last few days the OIE has published the details of further African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks in Laos – outbreaks have been confirmed in Phongsali Province in north Laos (3), Huaphanh Province in east Laos (4) and Xieng Khouang Province in north east Laos (1).
Laos first confirmed ASF in June 2019 with seven outbreaks in the Saravane province, which takes the total outbreaks to 15.
ASF has affected many countries in South East Asia since China announced they had ASF just over a year ago. Take a look at the update one year on.
