My last day at NPA... but I'll still be around

14th Feb 2019 / By Georgina Crayford

Sadly today is my last day at NPA, after working here for four-and-a-half years.

Georgina Crayford 2Of course I am sad that I will no longer get to work with the wonderful NPA team, but at least I am not going too far…. I expect I will see their faces, as well as NPA members, at plenty of meetings and events in the future.

I am excited to get stuck in at Red Tractor and I’m sure the knowledge I’ve gained over the last few years, through working in the pig sector, speaking with members and visiting their businesses, will stand me in good stead there.

I feel proud that during my time at NPA I was able to play a small part in helping the pig industry improve its reputation regarding antibiotic usage – what amazing progress the industry has made in that area!

It has also been hugely interesting trying to get my head around Brexit and what it means for the pig industry, as I’m sure everyone has been trying to; I just hope that it all works out for the best, with as little disruption as possible. Anyway, the pig industry is in great hands with the NPA team who will always be fighting your corner!

Should anyone need to get hold of me at Red Tractor, I’m sure the NPA office would be happy to pass on my contact details.

I look forward to hearing from you!
