NPA Election 2021: Another South Central Producer nomination

4th Jan 2021 / By Alistair Driver

The latest Producer nomination for the Pig Industry Group (PIG) elections is the second to come in from the South Central region.

Sally Stockings, a current member of PIG, is part of business with units in the south, south west, midlands and Wales, employing more than 60 people, with 85 independent farmers finishing the pigs.

She said UK pork is among the most respected in the world and that she would like it to be promoted more proactively.

"I am willing to devote time and energy to make the pig industry thrive, and so I ask for your vote, please," Sally wrote in her manifesto.

Heading in the Christmas break, a total of 16 nominations had been submitted - eight producer nominations and the same number from the allied industries.
