NPA to give social media push to AHDB pork campaign

NPA’s consumer facing social media pages on Instagram and Twitter (@GBPork) will be helping to promote AHDB’s October campaign promoting the use of pork with recipe inspiration.
The AHDB campaign is aimed at butchers and independent farm shops, and includes a pack consisting of 2 x 50 recipe cards and one poster. There are four recipes, including two different pulled pork dishes, a sausage and bean casserole and a roasted leg of pork.

"This is a great opportunity for our independent butchers and farm shops up and down the country to get involved in promoting British Red Tractor pork as a healthy and versatile meat, that can be enjoyed by the whole family," said NPA office manager Andrea Tranter, who runs the GB Pork pages.
"The recipes included in the kit are all easy to follow and require minimal additional ingredients, most of which would be found in your store cupboard, and you can easily swap things in and out if you want. The whole idea is to be able to make tasty meals using a versatile meat that can cater for every budget."
