NPA's Georgina Crayford awarded Nuffield scholarship

The NPA's senior policy adviser Georgina Crayford has been awarded a prestigious Nuffield scholarship. 

Georgina CrayfordGeorgina, who is an expert in this field, will use the scholarship to look at strategies to change farmer behaviour regarding antibiotic use on farm.

She will also consider whether any modifications to pig production systems might help with reducing antibiotic use.  

She will be officially awarded the Scholarship at the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust Annual Conference in Newcastle next month.

Her study will commence in March next year, following the International Contemporary Scholars Conference.

Georgina said she was delighted to be awarded the scholarship and thanked NPA and industry colleagues for their support.
