Northern Regional - have your booked your place yet?

28th Oct 2019 / By Alistair Driver

Last, but by no means least, the Northern Regional meeting takes place in York on Tuesday. There is still time to book your place.

It will start at 6.30pm with a hot buffet the Sandburn Hall Hotel, with lots, as ever, to discuss.

Duncan Berkshire, from the Bishopton Veterinary Group, will be the guest speaker, providing an update on the worrying spread of swine dystentery. Are we doing enough to prevent it.

AHDB's Bethan Wilkins will provide a market update and members will hear from the NPA team on a number of vitally important topics, including:

  • Brexit - what happens now?
  • The new pig welfare code
  • The latest on African swine fever
  • Animal rights activism
  • Environmental regulations

NPA chief executive Zoe Davies said: “With so much to discuss at the moment, the Autumn Regionals offer a great opportunity for us to explain some of the detail on the big issues of the day, from the new welfare Code to a no deal Brexit, but also to hear your views.

"So book your place now!”

The NPA will be running the usual one-hour surgeries prior to the meetings. You can book a one-to-one slot with NPA staff should you wish to discuss something specific with them.

To book your slot and let us know if you intend to the meetings please email andrea.vickers@npanet.org.uk or telephone on 02476 858780.
