Pigs Tomorrow - places still available for industry conference

1st May 2019 / By Alistair Driver

There is now just a fortnight to go until Pigs Tomorrow, the pig industry’s major conference of the year, and there are still some places available.

Pigs Tomorrow 1The two-day conference, jointly organised by Pig World and AHDB, will take place at the Jurys Inn hotel, near Hinckley, in Leicestershire, on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 14 and 15.

Pigs Tomorrow is bringing together expert speakers from around the world and the UK pig industry, who will be looking ahead to the pig sector of tomorrow.

The format will feature a dedicated International Outlook Conference, focusing on the global picture, including our post-Brexit prospects and the international marketplace.

It will be open to invited guests from all over the world. Levy payers can buy a ticket or register their interest on the website. The organisers will share this with sponsors who wish to invite levy payers.

On the second day, the Innovation Conference will take a detailed look at some of the technological advances taking place within the sector that could help pig businesses operate more effectively. This includes a focus on tail biting and 'smart data'.

The Innovation Conference, will be free to all levy payers, courtesy of AHDB. For non-levy payers, tickets will be available to purchase for anyone who has not been invited.
