South Central Autumn Regional today!

The next NPA Autumn Regional meetings takes place in Newbury today - and there is still time to book your place!
The South Central meeting, the second in a series of four, will take place at Newbury Rugby Club, starting at 6.30pm with a hot buffet.
Members will hear from the NPA team on a number of vitally important topics, including:
- Brexit and preparing for a no deal
- The new pig welfare code
- The latest on African swine fever
- Animal rights activism
- Environmental regulations
There will also be a presentation from Ed Barker on 'making yourself heard in Westminster', something that has never been more important and an update on the market and AHDB's current activities by the levy body's Duncan Wyatt.
NPA chief executive Zoe Davies said: “With so much to discuss at the moment, the Autumn Regionals offer a great opportunity for us to explain some of the detail on the big issues of the day, from the new welfare Code to a no deal Brexit, but also to hear your views.
"So book your place now!”
The NPA will be running the usual one-hour surgeries prior to the meetings. You can book a one-to-one slot with NPA staff should you wish to discuss something specific with them.

Speakers: Swine Dysentery - Duncan Berkshire, Bishopton Vets; AHDB update - Bethan Wilkins.
