Tribute to Lincolnshire farmer David Creasey

3rd Jan 2019 / By Alistair Driver

Warm tribute has been paid to well-known Lincolnshire farmer David Creasey, who sadly passed away on Saturday.

David was also a priest and vice chair of the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network, a role in which he has delivered invaluable support to many farmers in need over the years.

Writing on the forum, Lincolnshire pig farmer Meryl Ward, who knew David well, wrote: "The many tributes that have been given already speak of his wisdom, compassion and great zest for life. He was so modest but a remarkable man who will be greatly missed by so many people."

NPA chief executive Zoe Davies said David helped a lot of people through the rural support network and was a well-known and popular figure within the farming community. "He did a great deal to ease the burden of farmers in need and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with David's family,"she said.
