The NPA has some helpful advice for shoppers struggling to cope with the lack of lettuces and broccoli on retail shelves at the moment.
Poor growing conditions in southern Europe have prompted some retailers, including Tesco and Morrisons, to ration sales of certain products, such as lettuce and broccoli.
But, as one door closes, another opens, says NPA chief executive Zoe Davies.
She said: "We are all for a healthy balanced diet. So, if you are struggling to find the vegetables you were looking for, why not head over to the fresh meat aisle to pick up some healthy, delicious British pork products!
"And look out for the Red Tractor, of course. It guarantees your pork has been produced to high British standards."
