We must make sure Brexit is a success for pig producers 

NPA’s east region has its first candidate for Producer Group’s New Year election. Online polling booths open Monday January 22, by the way.

Rob Mutimer, a current member of Producer Group, farms in Norfolk with his wife Helen. They have 700 outdoor sows, with progeny finished on straw at five local farms. They also run Swannington Farm to Fork, a wholesale and retail butchery business.

"I passionately believe the NPA team has done an excellent job in looking after its members' interests since its formation," he says in his election address.

"I would very much like to continue working on Producer Group, trying to ensure Brexit is a success for pig producers and the allied industries alike, whilst also ensuring the industry is protected from further regulatory burdens and animal rights groups."
