What should Defra's small welfare grants cover?

Defra is currently working on developing the small grants scheme as part of the Animal Health and Welfare pathway.

It has sought feedback from NPA directly about what items these grants should cover and has put together a survey for producers, which we are urging members to complete.

Senior policy adviser Rebecca Veale has put together a table of items already available under Countryside Productivity grants, plus our own suggestions on new enhancements to be considered for inclusion in the grants scheme.
