Zoe's surreal but strangely uplifting experience

2nd Nov 2017 / By Alistair Driver

In her latest column for Pig World, NPA chief executive Zoe Davies recounts the 'surreal but uplifting' experience of attending the Woman of the Year awards.

"I settled at my table and discovered that on my left was a lady who runs the entire government estate and was involved in advising on Grenfell, and on my right, a woman who had worked in security for the Obama administration and been in Syria, Afghanistan and the Balkans," she wrote.

"I was surrounded by celebs: Baroness Karren Brady, someone else from Strictly Come Dancing and BBC newsreader Louise Minchin to name a few."

Zoe also outlines what happened when NPA met AHDB and how we hit back at some of the negativity surrounding the antibiotic announcement. There's a message of encouragement to potential NPA election nominees and news of a new spring banner campaign.
