25th Jun 2024 / By Alistair Driver

We are extremely sad to report that well-known pig farmer, Jon Easey, has died at the age of 55, following a long illness.

Easey2Jon, left, with his late father, Malcom, and brother, Chris.

Jon was part of the Suffolk-based farming family that became big names in the pig industry, initially under Jon’s father, Malcolm, who died in 2017 at the age of 76.

Easey Pigs, based near Eye, grew from a small mixed farm to become a major pig business, with contracted farms across the country. It was bought by Tulip in 2017, but the family continued to run a pig unit in Swaffham.

Jon was married to Sally with three boys, Ben, Tom and Harry. His brother Chris is also involved in the farming business.
