Feed companies working to minimise disruption to supplies

Feed companies are experiencing issues with supplies, but have told the NPA they are working hard to address the problems. 

The markets are turbulent due to measures being put in place to minimise coronavirus spread, such as ports being closed and tougher border controls. 

But feed industry representatives have told the NPA that feed businesses have already activated their business continuity plans and are braced to face any difficulties as they arise.

If producers are concerned about feed supply, the local supplier is the best source of information during the uncertain times and all questions should be addressed to them, one feed industry figure told the NPA.
