Important message: Beware of non-UK pork companies bearing gifts

We have just had a call from a member who is currently building a new high health sow unit and purchased some feeders direct from a Spanish company. 

The company kindly sent him a lovely Christmas hamper straight to the unit to say thanks, which happened to be full of Spanish pork sausage...

I don’t need to tell you why this was of concern to me.

Can I please therefore ask you to help us in spreading the message to any non UK company that you deal with that, however well-meaning, we would rather they did not send pork product gifts to pig farms!!

Can you also please make staff aware, especially if they are working on farm, that no pork should be allowed on site.

Any help you can give in spreading this message would be very much appreciated!
