New Shadow Defra Minister appointed
4th Jul 2017 / By Alistair Driver
Vegetarian Stroud MP David Drew has been appointed as a Shadow Defra Minister, as Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn reshuffles of his junior Ministers.
Mr Drew, who regained in his seat in last month’s General Election, will serve under Sue Hayman, who has retained her position as Shadow Defra Secretary after the election.
A former member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee, Mr Drew appears to be taking on the role of shadowing Farming Minister George Eustice.
