Tulip secures Co-op premium sausage contract

Tulip has won a new contract to supply the Co-op with 'top-tier' fresh sausages.

The Co-op has awarded Tulip a contract to supply nine all-year-round product lines from September 2019, strengthening the long-term agreement the retailer and the processor entered into in April 2018. 

The Co-op moved to 100% British outdoor British pork products last summer. Tulip said the new contract consolidates its long-term support of Co-op’s commitment to give shoppers greater access to top quality, higher welfare pork products sourced from UK RSPCA-assured farms.

Adrian Prior, category trading manager at Co-op, said: “Co-op is delighted to further build its relationship with Tulip as they support us with our premium sausage range. Extending our long-term strategic partnership will enable us to work with them on developing sales of this important category.”
