AHDB publishes new guidance for taking water samples

AHDB has published two new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for taking water samples.
The basic SOP provides instruction on taking water samples to meet assurance requirements. This is backed up by another one providing instruction for taking samples for more in-depth analysis.
"Good quality, hygienic water is a key component of pig health, welfare and productivity," the new documents stress.
