Planning deadline relaxation

The Government is allowing extra time to apply for planning permission due to COVID-19.
If members have an existing permission which runs out by December 31, they will now have until May 1, 2021, in England, so they don’t have to re-apply, Lizzie Wilson explained.
If a full or outline planning permission or listed building consent has lapsed between March 31 and August 19, farmers are advised to consult the local planning authority to undertake an additional environment process. Further guidance on the likely process is available here.
