300 complaints to Ofcom over How to Steal Pigs documentary

Channel 4’s 'How to Steal Pigs and Influence People' documentary has prompted more than 300 complaints to media regulator Ofcom, according to Farmers Weekly.
Complaints have been coming in to Channel 4 and Ofcom from the across pig sector and the wider farming industry, after the programme, shown on Tuesday night, featured blatant criminal activity by activists on farms, including numerous examples, as the title suggests, of pigs being stolen.
FW reported that the watchdog was looking at the complaints made against the programme before deciding whether to launch its own investigation. “We are assessing complaints about this programme against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate,” an Ofcom spokesperson said.
