Defra to hold webinar on new Export Health Certificates (EHCs)

Defra will be holding a further webinar for traders on August 4 to answer questions on the new Animal Health Regulation (AHR) Export Health Certificates (EHCs).
The EU is making changes to its animal health laws, meaning EHCs and Notes for Guidance used to move goods to Northern Ireland or export to the EU need to be updated. The changes will affect traders who exports certain animals, germinal products and products of animal origin.
A panel of experts from Defra and APHA will answer traders’ questions on the new AHR EHCs for live animals. The webinar will also cover other AHR EHCs that we have previously published.
The webinar for traders exporting to the EU and/or moving goods to NI will take place on Wednesday, August 4 at 11-12 am.
