Lizzie heading to Downing Street today for Farm to Fork Summit

NPA chief executive Lizzie Wilson is heading to 10 Downing Street today as part of the UK Farm to Fork Summit.

Today's summit will feature representatives from across the food and farming supply chain.

The day will include a meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, while Ministers from across the Cabinet will be in attendance as the event looks to showcase great UK farming and food production from across the sectors and regions.

There will also be a series of discussions on ensuring all parts of the UK’s food system and government are working together to support our domestic food sector, increase its resilience and harness future opportunities.

Lizzie said: “I am really delighted to be attending this event. It will be a fantastic opportunity to raise some of the key issues we face as an industry at the very highest levels of Government, and also to discuss with key people from across food and farming how we can work together to build a more functional and sustainable supply chain.”
