NPA Election 2021: First Northern nomination in as producer chair stands again
10th Dec 2020 / By Alistair Driver
Phil Stephenson, who has chaired the NPA Producer Group for the last six years, has become the latest producer to enter the NPA election race.
Phil is a 56-year-old indoor pig producer from East Yorkshire, running a 700-sows farrow-to-finish unit.
"I ask for your vote and, if elected, I will continue to offer my full support to the PIG and our magnificent NPA team from a practical on farm background," Phil says in his manifesto.
We have now received five producer nominations and six nominations from the allied industries for election to the Pig Industry Group (PIG).
Nominations are open until January 11 and voting for the 17 places on the new PIG commences on January 25.
